Calgary Alberta: 5 KINGZ February 1-5 2013
Now i was super excited for this cause this is the first time i have traveled with my crew mates, and our friend from Toronto met up with us too! We had also met up with a friends from winnipeg and saskatoon!
Gezzus christ the whole 5 days was pretty Awesome i can tell you that.
We made it to the top 16.. we lost to the other winnipeg crew, ugh i wish we battled someone else cause we always battle these guys! but it’s the way she goes i guess no complaints they won but it wasn’t a smoke show we definitely went hard ( hahahha) ! Saw old friends met new people!
Calgary as the city it was alright i guess i was hoping it would be something else. I guess cause we had to taxi everywhere. now that really killed all of us. We had Denny’s almost everyday, Most of us including me got sick, went back to winnipeg and found out i had a chest infection.
There was a whole lot of stuff that went down. it was really was a fun trip maybe if you’d ask me about it in person, i’ll give you all the deets
So thats how it is and thats how it goes.
Ottawa Ontario Canada: Open Minds January 10 - 13 2013
One word: disappointed. I know how it feels to get screwed over by a promoter, i wasn’t able to rep with the winnipeg team, as they got screwed over as well and couldn’t make it. But since i paid my own way via airplane i had no choice but to rep.
Lucky my brother Cee pulled through i was able to stay at his place and rep with his crew BreadCrumbs. His family welcomed me with open arms as i was their long lost kid, so it was dope! Very Blessed that i’ve met so many good people though bboying. We made it to the finals losing to Closet Monsters from Montreal. Nothing really to talk about this jam I did alright..I’ve been to practices that were way better than this event. But it was really nice getting to battle with my friends Cee,Mark, Jerick, and Jayson, we were an all filipino crew..so it worked out it made me feel like i was in winnipeg again. Oh wait.. one more thing, i did injure my ribs i was too eager to break the moment i got there that i didn’t even bother to warmup/stretch. I ended up pulling a muscle, but i was fine after 2 weeks.
OTHER THAN THE JAM… Ottawa is a beautiful city!! I’ve met alot of new friends, one that sticks in mind in particular.. hahaha. The weather was beautiful all weekend when i was there. I had an awesome time and hope to be back!
2013 Travels

I’ve got 2 event’s coming up in which i will be flying my ass out of Winnipeg and having a some what vacation cause working fulltime for 8 months straight can really exhaust you. Plus i haven’t batted outside of winnipeg since the summer of 2011
OTTAWA: OPEN MINDS THE GATHERING
I will be going out Ottawa Ontario in 2 weeks for 3 days only.. :( . BUT hey it’s nice to get out of Winnipeg and do what you love. Lucky my boss in the pharmacy is super cool and supportive that he let me have those 3 days off in such short notice. I will be entering with 6 random top bboys of my generation. I’m proud to rep myself and crew! I think with all the talent put into this crew we can make it really far. kinda sucks that i have to Fly it would have saved me ALOT of money if i were to get the whole week off and drive down there and get everything paid for…but atleast my hotel is paid for! I’ve got a few friends in ottawa so it’ll be nice to reunite with them!
CALGARY: 5 KINGS
I’ve been to calgary but never made it past the airport. I’m Super excited cause finally Flow Fanatics and a make national appearance as whole..usually it’s only one of us repping in one province but now it’s different! Also our very close brother from Toronto will be battling with us. from the facebook event page it looks as though Alberta has ALOT of bboy crews. Ahh cant wait!

about my friends from my home town winnipeg canada killing it in holland at IBE as well as others in canada ! one of the biggest events in bboying today. it’s really inspiring and motivating for myself. it’s good to know that they’re doing so well at their first international event. this is the only beginning for winnipeg bboying, as it will be my turn as well as my generation’s in the future!
although i am already 21, i’m still young and there will be many opportunities coming my way in the future.

i haven’t been cheating on you i just haven’t been on this thing in ages….still looks the same hmmmm, which doesn’t give me any motivation to update this. i think twitter and instagram are good enough.. like anyone cares about my blog or what i have been up too or what’s on my mind ! hahah
